Dear Families,
I want to welcome you and your child to the 2015-2016 school year. My name is Mrs. Suzy Reilly and I am excited to get to know your son/daughter this year. Your child will learn many new common core standards, meet new friends, and enjoy the Thomas Jefferson school environment.
Now let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Salinas, California and I went to Sacramento State University where I majored in Liberal Studies. Following my first year of teaching, I decided to go back to college and earn my masters in Special Education. I taught special education for 7 out of my 23 years of teaching.
I am happily married to Kevin and I have two sons Matt and Kyle. Matt is my stepson who will be a freshman in college and Kyle will be a seventh grader at Buljan Middle School. We have a pug named Lucky who likes to run and play. Last, I love to travel, ride my road bike and watch Kyle play sports.
Well, I'm looking forward to a great school year and meeting all my new families and friends.
Sincerely,
Suzy Reilly
